Job Title: Sales Ledger Accountant

Reports to: Group Finance Manager

Direct Reports: None

Purpose of the job: Form an integral part of STRI Group’s accountancy operations, providing key bookkeeping support by managing the sales ledger, processing invoices, liaising with clients and applying credit control

 

Areas of Responsibility:

  • End-to-end sales ledger management across multiple departments in multiple companies
    comprising:
  • New supplier form completion
  • Manage sales invoice forecast
  • Liaise with project managers on sales invoice queries
  • Raise invoices and book on the ledgers
  • Deal with client queries from sales invoices raised
  • Credit control

 

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience of bookkeeping essential
  • Experience with Xero is desired
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective planning and time management skills
  • Self-starter
